everything is worst on my side

EVERYTHING IS WORST ON MY SIDE

Tv hosts do this all the time, or well one specifically. Everything that happens to you, always happens worst to them. No matter what. It could even be something so extreme that I clearly don’t believe and honestly probably do not really care about.

Last night, the girl in the dorm next to me go terrible sick with what we think to be food poisoning. She was throwing up for hours, and couldn’t stand up, she was so weak and so dizzy. So I told my other friend, don’t come over, my neighbor is so sick, we need to make sure she is alright (she is ). He was drunk, so he doesn’t even remember inviting himself over. This morning he was telling me how he was sicker than her. I was like I doubt that, she was really sick. He replied…your kidding me. It pissed me off because my neighbor was clearly very sick because of something she ate. He was sick because he was drunk, his own fault.

Or you have the person who goes to extremes and doesn’t care who they take down. ….
Today on the TV HOST SHOW! I have six year old Cara here who is battling cancer. Cara has been threw so much, with radiation, cemo, etc. And she lost all of her hair and now needs to wear a wig. This is where the tv host pauses and replies…"Wait Wait…I have a wig too, because I had such a hard life. I lived in the city when I was younger and was picked on because my hair was so short. Everyone picked on me it made school very hard.” It’s like excuse me! That little girl has cancer! She cant help the fact that she has lost her hair. How selfish can you be.

I do not understand the person who always tries to one up you in something that you would not want to happen. It doesn’t make me pitty you or anything like that. It just annoys me. Stop being so selfish!

The bad day

The Bad Day.

You ever have a bad day and you just want some comfort from your friends? The situation kinda goes like this…

Yeah today I woke up late and as I stepped out of bed I stepped on my dead cat. Than my cereal had worms in it and my milk was bad, and than….someone had slashed my tires last night, there fore I needed to call a cab, which charged me $70 because my job is so far. Only to find out that the building had been closed down because of a water main break. So I called the cab driver back, but than we got stuck in traffic and had to pay much more than before. As I returned home my girl left me and my other cat died.”

…than your friend replies with…"sucks for you".
WTF MATE! I spilled out my guts to my “so-called” friend and all they can reply with is sucks for you. I was hoping you could cheer me up. I shouldn’t talk to you about my problems anymore. I wont tell you how I feel or how my day was anymore because you clearly don’t care.
I was hoping for some sympathy or maybe a “ill be there in a minute, well go find you a new cat.” But you could careless. When I hear sucks for you…my face just slides down into a ….fuck you face.

Doors

Here is the deal with doors

Hold the door if

  • I am two feet from the door- If i am clearly headed to the door than i obviously would like to go in it. There is no reason to let go of the door if i am right behind you. I am sure it would not kill you to be two seconds later for whatever you are doing. I am sure its not that important if you NEED to be there within those two seconds

  • You see me near by- DON'T BE STUPID! If you can see me standing there why would you just walk in. Thats just being rude.

  • If I have something in my hands-I am a rather small girl, so if I am carrying a box I would quite like it if you could just hold the door open for me. Whatever happen to chivalry guys? I clearly cannot open the door if i am holding something such as a box.

  • If the door needs to be unlocked- I live in my campouses dorm and I need a key to open my main door and my floor door. Today I was walking in not more than a few seconds from this girl. It was obvious I was entering. She just walked out. So I had to take my key out and unlock the door. Now I may sound lazy, but it's just if I am clearly coming in and you know the door needs to be unlocked...why cant you hold it?

  • If I look mad.- When a person is angry its always nice to try to cheer them up.

  • The door is heavy- As I mentioned before I am a small girl. Heavy doors ARE hard for me to open. Have you ever gone somewhere and the door was alot heavier than you expected? Isnt it annoying?

  • When the person has a child-I used to work in the mall and I would watch people try to squeeze into the doors with strollers, bags, and small childern at hand. People would just let the door go in their faces. Why would you do that...

When to not hold the door

  • I am far away from the door- If I am more than ten feet from the door please do not hold it for me. I feel like i am an inconvience to you if I take my time walking to the door now. Now I am forced to run. Thank you for your kindness...but no thanks.

  • If I should not be going in it-Dont tease me! If i am not allowed in dont let me in. Or if you look dangerous DONT LET THE PERSON IN! I would never let a random stranger into your house...Why would you let one into mine?

When People Will Not Leave

GUESTS WHO OVER STAY THEIR WELCOME

Alright, So I am a new college student and I finally live on my own. My roommate and I are very chill with who each other are friends with, and who hangs out with us. Than there are people who take advantage of our kindness.

A. The Friend- This is the person who thinks that you are good friends with them and they stay in the room uninvited. Even when hints are mentioned to leave they cant take it. Sometimes one of us will pretend that we are tired, sick, or we have homework, and ignore out guest (rude I know) and they still will not leave. We dont want to be full out rude and say..."Dude, get out of our room". Sometimes we need to get to that point.

B.The Family Member- Everyone has one of these. The family member who always arrives late to a family gathering and feels that they have the right to stay later now. Thus equalling be the hostest for even longer than needed, and loosing sleep and relaxation. I mean after a long family party who doesnt want to relax. Than there is the one person who thinks they need to stay. Its sad but family members cant even take the hint.

C.The Kid Crushing- We being two single young ladies are "on the market" I suppose and guys are looking to snatch us up. We only mean to be friends with these kids so we ask them to hang out, not knowing they are crushing on us. Than...THEY DONT LEAVE. One movie, a munchie run, and some stupid reality tv show later...they are still sitting here. We are doing absolutly nothing and they need to stay...for what reason? Who knows. Than they invite themselves over...but thats for another day.

D.The Weirdo- Sometimes there are just weird people who will not leave. One girl will come in here and read a book or stare into space...well be busy doing homework or on our computers and she just sits here...staring...no converstation. Or she will come in here and read. It's a little weird. We'll hint for her to leave but she wont.

This brings me to my final question. How do you get someone to leave without being completely rude? Most people cant take a hint, and it's always weird to be the one who has to be blunt and say....LEAVE NOW! Cant people get the vibe that they are no longer wanted in a space after like...5 hours or 5 minutes. I know I can tell.
